Gel and Clot Activator contain spray-coated silica and a polymer gel for a stable barrier between serum and blood cells.. They are used for serum determinations in chemistry, blood donor screening and infectious disease testing.

The minimum recommended coagulation time for Gel and Clot Activator tubes for patients who have not received anti-coagulation treatment is 30 minutes.

1300-2000 g for 10 minutes
